For example, we may send you marketing and promotional materials on behalf of Elementis, or communicate with you about our Products. We may receive a confirmation when you open a message from us, which helps us improve our services and customer engagement. If you previously provided us with such information but no longer wish to receive communications from us, please let us know at dataprivacy[at]elementis.com or by updating your email preferences via Alerts.

Rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)

California residents are entitled to request disclosure of their personal information (‘right of access’), right of data portability and the right of erasure, subject to certain exceptions. Sale of Personal Data under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”):

CCTV

CCTV is in operation at our premises. The images captured are securely stored and only accessed on a need-to-know basis (e.g. in the event of an incident). We use the CCTV images for the purposes of promoting security and safety, preventing and detecting crime and for the purposes of establishing, exercising and defending legal claims. We may disclose CCTV images to law enforcement and other regulatory bodies as permitted under applicable laws. 

Visitor Records

Visitors to our premises are required to sign in at reception or entry gates to our premises. We keep a record of visitors to our premises. These records are securely stored and only accessible on a need-to-know basis (e.g. to investigate an incident). 

The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 in the UK (RIDDOR) requires Us to report certain serious workplace accidents, occupational diseases and certain other dangerous occurrences (near-misses). We may be required to collect additional information about you or the accidents, including any injuries sustained, contact details and any other information required for the purposes of RIDDOR reporting, or as otherwise required under applicable laws. 

Guest WIFI

We monitor traffic on our guest WIFI networks using industry standards intrusion detection systems. This allows us to access limited information about your network activity and device, including but not limited to the source and destination addresses you access while connected to our Guest Wi-Fi. 

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone under the age of 16, or knowingly allow such persons to use, access or register on our website. Neither our website, Products, nor this Notice are directed at such persons.
