Nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NiSAT) for waterborne Clear-Coat Systems

RHEOLATE 288 is a nonionic synthetic associative rheological additive designed specifically for waterborne clear-coat systems.

RHEOLATE 288 is a highly efficient polyether polyurethane associative thickener. It provides exceptional clarity compared with many conventional associative thickeners that often cause hazing, stability or print resistance problems.

RHEOLATE 288 is highly efficient compared to conventional associative thickeners in the mid-shear rate viscosity range (Brookfield, Stormer, Ford Cup, Zahn Cup). It also provides a high shear thinning index which makes it ideal for spray and

dip coat applications as well as traditional brushing.

RHEOLATE 288 is a 25 % active solution designed for use in latex emulsions, dispersions and water reducible clear-coats and high gloss pigmented systems. Primary applications include: wood furniture, kitchen cabinet, wood fixtures,

appliance enamels and other applications where

high gloss and clarity are required.
